Welcome to PRIME. This page explains how to get started from download, how to use the main features, and what to do if you need help.

How to Use PRIME From Download
1. Download PRIME
Download PRIME from the App Store and open the app on your iPhone. Make sure you are using the latest version of iOS for the best experience.
2. Create Your Account
When you first open PRIME, follow the onboarding screens and create an account using your email address and password. Your account is used to save your profile, workout history, progress, and PRIME Social features.
3. Complete Your Profile
Enter your name, height, weight, training level, goals and basic fitness information. PRIME uses this information to personalise your training plan, calorie targets, readiness insights and progression recommendations.
4. Allow Apple Health Permissions
PRIME may ask for access to Apple Health. Allowing these permissions helps PRIME read workout, heart rate, activity, calories, sleep and recovery data where available.
You can change permissions at any time:
iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → PRIME
5. Install PRIME on Apple Watch
If you use Apple Watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone and install PRIME on your watch. Apple Watch lets you track workouts, monitor live heart rate, follow sets, log reps and sync workout progress back to your iPhone.
6. Generate Your First Workout Plan
Open the AI Planner or onboarding plan setup. Choose your goal, training frequency, experience level and available equipment. PRIME will create a plan designed around your inputs.
7. Start Your First Workout
Go to your Dashboard or Train tab and select today's workout. Tap to start the session. During the workout you can log each set, including reps, weight, warm-up sets, rest periods and exercise progress.
8. Log Sets, Reps and Weight
For each exercise, update the reps and weight performed. PRIME tracks your volume, progression, completed sets, calories and personal records automatically where supported.
9. Follow PRIME Adjustments
PRIME may suggest session adjustments based on progression, fatigue or targets. These are designed to help you train smarter, avoid unnecessary junk volume, and keep your progress moving in the right direction.
10. Complete the Workout
When finished, use the complete workout button. PRIME will save your workout, update your progress, calculate summary stats and highlight any personal records.
11. Share to PRIME Social
After completing a workout, you may choose to share it to PRIME Social. You can add a caption and an optional workout image before posting. Shared posts may be visible to other PRIME users.
12. Review Your Progress
Use the Dashboard and Progress areas to review training volume, personal records, readiness, recovery, streaks, calories and strength trends over time.
Password Reset & Sign-In Help
If you have forgotten your password:
- Open PRIME.
- Tap Forgot Password on the sign-in screen.
- Enter your account email address.
- Open the reset email on your iPhone.
- Tap the reset link.
- Follow the instructions inside PRIME to create a new password.
If you do not receive the reset email:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure the email address is typed correctly.
- Wait a few minutes and try again.
- Contact support if the issue continues.
Apple Watch Sync Issues
If your Apple Watch is not syncing with PRIME:
- Check PRIME is installed on both iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Open PRIME on both iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Check Apple Health permissions are enabled.
- Restart both iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Try starting a new workout again.
Apple Watch sync requires your iPhone and Watch to be paired and signed into the same Apple ID.
Apple Health & HealthKit Permissions
PRIME uses Apple Health data only when you grant permission. This can improve:
- Heart rate tracking
- Workout data sync
- Calories burned
- Readiness and recovery insights
- Sleep and fatigue signals where available
To change permissions:
iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → PRIME
Subscription & Trial Questions
PRIME may offer a free trial and paid subscription through your Apple ID. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not directly through PRIME.
To manage or cancel a subscription:
- Open iPhone Settings.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select PRIME.
- Manage, cancel or update your subscription.
Workout Publishing & PRIME Social
PRIME Social lets you share workouts, follow athletes, view public posts, like workouts, comment, and stay motivated with the community.
When sharing a workout:
- Only post content you are happy for other users to see.
- You can add a caption and optional image.
- You remain responsible for the content you publish.
- You can request help if you need support with public content.
Delete Account
To delete your account, open PRIME and go to your Profile area. Select the delete account option if available.
You can also request account deletion by emailing: support@prime-app.co.uk
Account deletion may permanently remove associated cloud data, profile data, social content and workout history.
